MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 2 reales, Charles II, assayer not visible, odd shape with long curved tail, ex-Rudman. KM-34; Cal-Type 71. 5.30 grams. Worn (lightly toned Fair) and with little detail visible (just some shield and cross), but with uniquely long, curved "tail" that evidently served as a toothpick in its time, suspended by a hole at the other end and with decorative notches at the top of the pick. With collector tag M-S4-59 ("Sailor's Toothpick"). Pedigreed to the Isaac Rudman Collection.
